July Board Update!
Time for another update!
We are pleased to report that our site negotiations are on track, and that the process continues to be a positive one.
The Board is beginning to plan our next Annual Meeting. We intend to hold the meeting in September this year, and are so excited to see you all in person! Based on input from our General Manager, Sam, we will be asking Members to approve changes to our by-laws.
One notable change will be our request to move the co-op from its current fiscal year to calendar year reporting and tax filing. This will enable Sam to get all of the year end financials done when the co-op will be at its slowest (January & February).
It also means that our Annual Meetings will be held in March or April going forward. Full details of the proposed by-laws changes will be coming soon.
The co-op table will be at farm stands and farmers’ markets all summer long. Visit our website or Facebook page for the full list of events. Come with your questions or just come say hello. We hope to see you there!
