Co-op Bylaws and Policies
Cooperative businesses and their boards are governed by bylaws and policies. These structures keep the business, its employees, and its volunteer board accountable to Member-Owners and to the 7 Cooperative Principles on which we’re founded: Voluntary & Open Membership; Democratic Member Control; Member Economic Participation; Autonomy & Independence; Education, Training & Information; Cooperation Among Cooperatives; and Concern for Community.
