Before starting, make sure your ice cream maker has thoroughly chilled in the freezer overnight.
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
– 1 lb Concord Grapes
– 1/2-1 cup of sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)
– 1 cup of water
– juice of 1/2 lemon
– 1/4 cup half and half (or coconut cream if leaving out the dairy)

– Cook grapes, sugar, and water in saucepan on medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent burning. Add more water if the liquid gets too low.
– Let cool completely, then filter the berry mix through a sieve to remove skins and seeds.
– Stir in lemon juice.
– Put into ice cream maker, adding half and half or coconut cream to add some creaminess to the sorbet. If you want it creamier, add more than is called for.
– Once sorbet reaches the desired thickness, about 15 minutes, spoon into bowl and enjoy!
– To store extra sorbet, pack into a container and place in freezer.
