The Sustainability Campaign
Most food co-ops have to wait 10 years to achieve the bold sustainability goals we’ve set. Bank debt siphons off revenue, and free cash for programming isn’t there.
We can’t wait 10 years for a truly sustainable grocery store. Climate change, healthy food access, local and BIPOC producers – our food system is broken. And we’re taking action…
The Sustainability Campaign is an initiative to raise $2M in tax-deductible donations to open a community-owned grocery store that is sustainable on all fronts, on Day 1.
What Will Our Donations Do?
Massachusetts residents can now make tax-deductible donations that specifically support:
- Greening our community-owned grocery store
- Building robust healthy food access programs for low-income residents
- Expanding support for local and BIPOC producers
