Our Assabet Co-op Market was chosen as the only East Coast startup to be accepted into the National Co+op Grocers network for 2021.

NCG pools the buying power of co-ops across the country to further our goal of providing affordable, healthy food for all.

Simply look for the “Co+op Basics” labels when we open our store next year for a large selection of staple foods and goods—including natural and organic products—priced below suggested retail. The Co-op is able to offer this program not by paying less to employees or farmers, but by working with a network of food co-ops across the country to negotiate lower prices on healthy, organic, natural products.
