Announcing Our Store Location!
We have agreed to purchase 2 Powder Mill Road in Maynard, the future home of our locally sourced, community-owned grocery store!
This riverside property is the former location of Suburban Glass & Mirror and will allow us to build a beautiful cooperative grocery store with almost 6,000 square feet of retail space, 35 parking spaces, street visibility, all grocery departments, cafe seating and downtown walkability! And best of all, we will OWN it, building financial strength for our Co-op and our community for decades to come.
Our Assabet Co-op Market will be a full-service, community-owned grocery store that prioritizes local farms and producers, increases access to healthy food for all, reduces our food’s carbon footprint, and builds a thriving local economy.
